Another Year Has Come And Gone...
...and a new one is starting with all the anticipation and promise of possibility. Possibility. It's the reason we make resolutions for the coming year. It doesn't matter if you stick to them for a month or are able to maintain them for the long haul. It's all about the belief that we can and will make a change, however small, to improve ourselves or the world around us. Whether your resolution involves spending more time at the gym, less time at the office, taking up a hobby or volunteering at a local charity; it's the possibility, the belief that we can do these things, which drives us to make resolutions every year.
The Holidays Are Upon Us Once Again
The holidays are upon us once again and between the shopping, decorating, cooking and get-togethers, it can get pretty stressful. All of that celebrating can really takes its toll. No Shave November
No. It’s not a word most people like to hear because it immediately puts up walls and boundaries. If you ask any child under the age of five what word he hears the most, it’s probably “no”. Let’s take back some of the negative connotation of the word. No Shave November is the perfect cause to follow up October’s Breast Cancer Awareness. It’s a simple concept – embrace your hair and raise cancer awareness while raising funds to help in prevention, research and education.
Summer Is On The Horizon
Summer is on the horizon and with the hotter months come different challenges for your skin. UVA and UVB rays are harmful any time of the year, but our extended exposure to them in the summer months is what makes them more dangerous come June and July. Days at the beach, the ballfield and poolside will age the skin faster and cause potentially harmful damage that can be prevented with a little planning and a few smart choices.

October is the time for cozy sweaters, hot cider and awareness. That's right, it's breast cancer awareness month and there are a whole slew of ways to support the cause. So break out your pink....everything, and honor those women who've battled and are battling the fight.
