New York Fashion Week often sets the tone for what we’ll see on the streets and this year is no exception. While some of the styles featured alongside the fashions of Badgley Mischka, Tom Ford and Anna Sui, such as the Half-Up-Half-Down do’ with Maleficent Buns may not translate into your daily style unless you’re a college student on the way to a party, some of the styles are too incredible not to steal.

Your simple ponytail can get that elegant upgrade by adding a velvet bow tied low at the nape and left to hang limp. It’s a chic statement for a laid back style and very office appropriate.

Cream Soda Hair color is a great way to go not too blonde. This works for both darker and lighter hair shades who want to try the look with face-framing highlights that add dimension to your hair.

The bob is back. This classic style comes and goes and has had many incarnations from the Sci-fi bob to the Textured bob and the ever popular Lob, but the blunt bob is both edgy and sophisticated, making it a favorite cut for many.
